The Sun God, the worship of whom stretches into antiquity. He is a gentle, fatherly god originating with the Flan people but venerated by all with a liking for the sun and its warmth and lifebringing properties.
Pelor’s priesthood tend to be gentle, humble folk noted for their charity and healing arts. His temples are required to render healing and shelter to whoever asks for it in good faith. Harming a priest of Pelor is thought to bring bad luck – often because nearly all of the criminal underworld have been saved from starvation or exposure by the clergy at some point in their lives.
Many of the more militant members of the church have migrated to the cult of Mayaheine, Pelor’s paladin who ascended to godhood.
